This one is for u...

Have been seeing some one in a situation i found myself a few days back. This is what i felt then, tell me if there are any analogies...

Khuda ki har saajish khud-b-khud naakaam ho jaaye
Kabhi jo pehlu main tere, meri shaam ho jaaye.

Mil Jaate hain har nukkad pe tere kadardaan lekin
Socha tere sajde main mera bhi ek salaam ho jaaye.

Habib nahin na sahi, hudu hi sahi
Tujhse judke, yun mera bhi kuchh naam ho jaaye.

Ya bunen rishta is jahan se parey koi
Naam jiska dhoondne, khuda bhi pareshaan ho jaaye.

Haathon main hunar tere bhi kam to nahin
khainch kuchh lakeerein, ki takdeer bhi hairan ho jaaye.

Kabhi jo bichh saken mere intzaar main palken teri
To mere kafan ka bhi intzaam ho jaaye.

Ya ae aaftaab mere, yun mujhe tu khaak kar
Mujhse sirfiron k liye ek paigam ho jaaye.

Let's start up with something that is not of general interest..."me"...something fairly eccentric..so that my buddies who complain that i have been unfair to me and my life rest at peace...

Off late i was trying to quit smoking ...but just as a silver lightening in the cloud this excerpt from one of my frens dad's writes flashed in my mind which in the earlier days made smoking "not so bad proposition" for me.

"I like cigarettes.I like to think of fire held in a man's hand.Fire, a dangerous force tamed at his fingertips.I wonder what great things have come from such hours when a man sits alone watching the smoke of a cigarette, fondling the red hot tip, caressing the ash;thinking. When a man has a spot of fire alive in his mind it's inevitable that he has the burning tip of a cigarette as one of his expressions."

And guess what i quit the idea to quit...
